The Grand Palace

The computer that I'm on wouldn't let me rotate the pictures, so I hope you can when you enlarge them.
I had to have a separate entry for the Grand Palace just because it is so grand. This is the former royal residence (until Rama V built theVimanmek Mansion in Dusit Palace Park). The buildings are mindboggling, but the highlight of the Palace area is Wat Phra Kaew, which houses the Emerald Buddha, one of the most revered of Thailands Buddhas. I couldn't take a picture of the Emerald Buddha because cameras are not allowed in the temple.
