I am in the final stages of preparing for my trip to Thailand. I will be traveling with two other educators from Solon Springs WI. We are leaving the States on February 6. We will begin the trip by spending a few days in Bangkok, and then traveling to the Sukhothai Province located in the northwest part of Thailand. We will be staying at two towns there, first at Si Satchanalai, a small town of about 15,000 located in the farming region. Si Satchanalai is known for their pottery, silks and historic parks and national parks. From there we will travel to Ban Mai, a much smaller village. While there we will be visiting and speaking in their high schools, as well as sight seeing, shopping and last but not least, enjoying some wonderful Thai food. We will end our trip in Bangkok before flying home on February 28.Please join me on my travels.
